Whether you are a current student, recent alum, Golden Grad or honorary member of the Messiah family, we hope that you are excited to reconnect, reminisce and renew your affinity towards Messiah University during Homecoming & Family Weekend 2021! On Friday, October 8th, we welcome back our Golden Grads and will honor the Class of 1970 & 1971 at our Golden Grad Luncheon. During the evening, we will gather with our Young Alumni (classes 2010-2021) at Appalachian Brewing Company in downtown Harrisburg.
On Saturday, October 9th, we honor the classes of ’80, ’81, ’90, ’91, ’95, ’96, ’00, and ’01 who will celebrate their milestone reunions on Saturday at Reunion Row. All are invited to enjoy Homecoming favorites, such as Varsity Athletic Competitions, Lifelong Learning Sessions, the Whiteout March and our SAB Homecoming Coffeehouse, or check the schedule for new events for 2021!
And be sure to stay with us into the evening to enjoy FIREWORKS following the Men’s Soccer Game at Starry Field!
An Update for Visiting Campus:
Messiah University has gone to great lengths to keep our students safe and to minimize the risks of COVID cases spreading throughout our campus community. And while we endeavor to continue to provide a safe environment for our students, we also value our alumni and families and are excited to celebrate our first Homecoming and Family Weekend as a university. Therefore, we are asking you, our alumni and families, to partner with Messiah in our efforts to keep you, our students, and our campus community safe by abiding by the following health and safety guidelines while on campus for Homecoming and Family Weekend.
- Messiah University requires masking in all university buildings for all individuals regardless of their vaccination status. Masks may be removed outside, when physical distancing is able to be maintained. If you do not have one, we will provide you with a mask at our registration desk just inside Eisenhower Campus Center.
- Social distance six feet from individuals outside your family.
Assess your personal health prior to arriving on campus. If you, or any family member feels ill, please stay home and join us next year.
