Whether you are a current student, recent alum or Golden Grad, we hope that you are excited to reconnect, reminisce and renew your affinity towards Messiah College during Homecoming 2016! Student events will kick off October 10th and will feature our second, annual Food Truck Fair! On Friday, October 14th, we welcome back our Golden Grads and will honor the Class of 1966 at our Golden Grad Luncheon. On Saturday, October 15th, we will feature our special academic spotlights: The School of the Arts and the School of Business, Education and Social Sciences. Special congratulations to the classes of ’76, ’86, ’91, ’96, ’01, ’06, ’11 and ’16 who will celebrate their milestone reunion on Saturday. All are invited to enjoy Homecoming favorites, such as the Live Color Run, Varsity Athletic Competitions, the Whiteout March and our SAB Homecoming Coffeehouse, or check out new events for 2016, which include the Earthkeepers Nature Walk, Instrument Petting Zoo, Cluster Reunions and Paint the Covered Bridge event! We can’t wait to see you there!

Golden Grad Luncheon

The Golden Grad Luncheon is sponsored, in part, by the Heritage Society and is open to all Golden Grads, including our newest members, the Class of '66, who will receive an honorary Golden Grad pin. The program will also include music by The Singing Men, a student testimony and a greeting from Messiah College. The cost of this event is $10/per person for our Golden Grads.  There is no charge for those guests celebrating their 50th reunion from the Class of 1966.

Falcon Fun Run

The more competitive of the two races, this is a measured 2 mile timed run. It contains mostly wide trails and will show off the natural autumn beauty of campus! Proceeds will go to Messiah’s Track and Field Team, as a fundraiser for their Spring Break service trip. Live Color Run

Enjoy a colorful, noncompetitive 2-mile run/walk event around Messiah’s campus with your family and friends. The proceeds go toward Messiah’s Track and Field Team, to raise funds for their service trip which will happen in the Spring. Kids & adults of all ages are welcome! Paint the Covered Bridge

Experience the creative energy that kept your art major friends awake through the wee hours of the morning in the painting studio. With the help of an artistic guide, create an original acrylic painting of the iconic covered bridge as a memento of your time at Messiah College. No experience necessary. Seats are very limited - advance registration is required. Guests ages 12 and up only (those under 15 must paint with an adult companion). $10/person.

Whether you are across the state or across the world, we are very grateful you have decided to make the journey back “home” to Grantham, PA this fall. A number of motels and hotels in the area provide a discounted rate for Messiah College students, families, and alumni. Please contact each hotel for availability and reservations. By selecting the “Read More” button below, you will be provided with a list of hotels within five miles from campus who offer the Messiah College discount upon request. Please make reservations under “Messiah College Homecoming.” Discounts are offered between October 13-October 16.

Parking & Check-In

Friday, Oct. 14: Golden Grads are encouraged to park in lot WW. Check in for the Golden Grad events will be held in the new Martin Commons Lobby, which is located in the Eisenhower Campus Center next to the Lottie Nelson Dining Hall. Golden Grads with a need for handicap parking may use the visitor parking lot (VV). Saturday, Oct. 15: Parking is open across campus (including Starry Athletic Field). No parking pass is required. Due to construction on campus; however, optimal parking spaces will be limited. Guests are encouraged to park in lots WW, H, Rec Field #2 and the Pit. Once you arrive, please check in at registration in the Eisenhower Campus Center. You will be able to pick-up or purchase tickets, ask questions, and receive your nametag and schedule.
